Double infamy – Keir Starmer is scheming to wreck Brexit

Shadow Ministers are scheming to betray the voters by pressuring leader Jeremy Corbyn towards forcing a vote on Single Market membership – something which could split the Tory Party and cause Brexit chaos.

Keir Starmer is in the forefront of the strategy.  On the one hand, he hypocritically insists it is vital to obey the decision of the EU Referendum.  But really,  he is doing all he can to undermine the reasons that Leavers voted for Brexit.  Continue reading

Furious Corbo sacks three of his cabinet, and one resigns. Labour in disarray…

As Labour amendment after amendment failed, the fury of Jeremy Corbyn  knew no bounds’   He made the mistake of believing the Corbynista trolls, but now his own party was giving him the finger! On an ego trip that had to be seen to be believe at Glasto,  Corbo has crashed to earth with a juddering thud.   Like Theresa May, he has had a short sharp shock in the vicissitudes of politics.  Continue reading

Brilliant Boris Johnson smashes “tutti frutti” Corbyn to pieces

Boris Johnson pulverises Andrew Gwynne and destroys Jeremy Corbyn in a scathing denunciation of truth and facts.

A tutti fruiti Coalition of Chaos, bellows furious Boris!  He hammered home that Corbyn wants a second referendum like the wrath of God!

We need someone who is tough on terrorism and tough on EU – Jeremy Corbyn is neither!  This is the real debate!

Righteous indignation from Boris!   Gwynne reduced to spluttering incoherence!

May isn’t clean Brexit. She is hard Remain.

There is no doubt whatsoever that Theresa May will win the next general election.  To be honest,   it shouldn’t be called an election.   Walkover, done deal, absolute certainty are the words that spring to mind.

As a life long Tory, I should be glad, but for the dishonesty of the present leader.  Whatever I say will not prevent a Tory win, so these are my concerns. Continue reading

Body blow for Hammond as PM picks Bojo strategy for EU

For six months the battle has raged between the Boris Johnson strategy in dealing with the EU and Philip Hammond’s softer Remainian approach.  Boris’s brilliant plan has covered every ambiguity and has a fall back position, should things not go as planned.  So well calculated  is the strategy though, that it is impossible to find a flaw.boriseusummit2Superbrain Boris has covered all eventualities and Brexiteers were ecstatic at the positive and gracious tone of the speech, that cloaked an iron structure.  The Sun reported:  “His allies hailed key decisions to leave the single market, pull out of two thirds of the customs union and end “vast” EU budget payments as the arguments Boris has been making since the EU referendum campaign. Corbyn’s new “Trump” media strategy is already imploding

It didn’t get off to a good start. The London Standard reported that Corbyn’s new media strategy is dropping the defensive mode that got them nowhere and doing a Trump!barlettThe informal tagline, they say is “Let Corbyn be Corbyn!”  Please God No!  Couldn’t the masterminds behind the strategy do better than to recyle the old chestnut  “Let Bartlett be Bartlett” from the West Wing?   Continue reading

Boris in Berlin: You can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube

Boris Johnson handled a frosty meeting in Berlin  with his German opposite number, Steinmeier with his usual placid charm today.  Steinmeier tried to rattle Boris with criticisms of the problems over Brexit,  complaining Germany had been “left in limbo”.   He also said acidly he “didn’t appreciate” Boris’s attitude during the Referendum.  The German FM confirmed there would be no single market without free movement. borisbrexit13Instead of sniping back, Boris said reasonably:  “”It’s very important to understand this is one stage in a legal process. We will go on and appeal, but I don’t think it will interfere with the timetable for that process.” Continue reading
