For a journalist, Dan Hodges is a nice guy, down to earth and not a bit stuck up. His Achilles heel is he is so innocent, he shouldn’t be let out alone.
As Mayor, Boris Johnson gave a huge amount of help to George, even bailing him out when the economy was tanking by giving him some sound economic advice. George of course claimed all the credit, and for while some innocents, including Dan, actually believed him. Boris’s reward as proudly revealed by Dan, was George then said he intended to “knife Boris in May 2016!”. Continue reading

Journalist Peter Oborne has frequently reported the plans of Cameron and Osborne to do a deal with the Blairites over the EU referendum. The only interviews Jo Bertram has ever given have presented her as a plucky heroine, bravely putting up with abuse from cabbies, who, quite rightly are livid that Uber is breaking all the rules and getting away with it.
Safety regs. that are there for a reason – above all to protect the customer – are blithely ignored by Uber. The number of assaults by Uber drivers on female passengers is on the rise, and rapes in India particularly are at an all time high, but hey, Uber has plenty of lobbyists to churn out the spin. A London based poll, released by campaigning group 38 Degrees and conducted by YouGov, shows 58 per cent of Londoners want Osborne to abandon his current plans, with 23 per cent of respondents having said the cuts should go ahead but at a later date or with a lower rate of cuts.
