Will Travis Kalanick be forced to bend to the will of London black cabbies?

A new vibe is energising the black cab trade!  Instead of gritted teeth, and brave faces,  worried by the threat of Uber, there is now hope and genuine optimism from black cab drivers.

Time after time, I hear the same story from black cab drivers.  Slowly but surely, customers are turning back to safe, experienced, utterly reliable black cabs.

Forget the app! All the spin doctors and lobbyists in the world can’t make up for a lousy product.  Uber drivers are horribly exploited and on the breadline.  Rapes and attacks on women are too worrying.   Safety and knowing where you are going matter more!

Quality tells.  The Knowledge is a struggle, but its value cannot be denied.  You may have succeeded in other parts of the world, Travis Kalanick, but you will never defeat London black cabs!

  1. Let’s be fair it’s a direct result of
    Mr Johnsons backing that ubent
    have been allowed flourish. Johnson
and his followers will be remembered
for attempting to kill off the taxi
trade. If he had morals he would
    hold his head in shame.

    • Don’t you do any research? George Osborne took over Uber and minicabs, because Boris wanted to cap PHVs. it takes legislation to do that, and George won’t allow it. If George uses Secretary of State he can take issues over. That is what happened here, he is pals with Uber boss, Travis Kalanick. Boris wanted Uber to comply with regs. but not his remit now. Cannot believe your ignorance.

    • Let’s be fair? You are being horribly unfair. Facts as Angel says. shame on you.
