Boris at Talk London Debate doesn’t mince words over the LibDems

This was the first Talk London debate Boris has taken part in since he won the last Mayoral election and his high spirits were reflected in the ebullience of his opening speech.

A wide range of subjects was covered in the questions from the bus drivers’ bonus to the reasons for a new runway,  who will benefit from the new cable car, racism in the Met., and many other subjects.

Boris didn’t mince words when talking about the Lib Dems and the negative influence they are exerting over government policy.   At one point, his frustration bursts through. When discussing the need for another runway, he said that China is building seventy more airports.  We urgently need another runway and we need it now.  The problem is the government is having huge trouble getting the Lib Dems to agree to anything.  There is no support from the Lib Dems , said Boris,  for anything to do with expansion anywhere, ever.

Do listen to the entire podcast, Boris is on great form.
